Kitchen Remodel & Cabinet Refacing
Cabinet Refacing Details
- A shallow pantry was added to the left of the refrigerator by stealing some space from the adjoining garage
- The bar which passes thru to the dining room was modified by adding mirror, glass shelves, stem glass holders, and a wine rack
- Modified the oven cabinets to accept a new double oven
- All the cabinet were then refaced with wood grain laminate old, new, and modified looked the same new laminate doors were added
- A skylight was added to bring more light into the kitchen
- A pony wall 3′ tall that partially closed off the kitchen from the family room was added to create a small breakfast area with a view to the back yard
- Florescent under cabinet lights and florescent indirect lighting behind valence in skylight so it was a source of light at night also
- New cabinets manufactured by Danilo Nesovic
- Existing cabinets modified and refaced to match
- Cabinet Finish: Wood grain laminate
- Laminate countertops with wood edge to match cabinets & wood trim
- New Thermador double oven
- New cooktop and range hood
- Vinyl floors

Project Overview
This Mount Helix client felt this kitchen only needed a facelift, so the changes were minimal. We refaced and modified the majority of the existing kitchen cabinets, added a few more to create this attractive kitchen.
