Did you do 15″ upper cabinets in order to get that Sharp microwave flush? Or recess the microwave into the wall? This is exactly the look we want! Thanks!
My standard depth wall cabinet is 14″ for many other reasons, not for this microwave. Also, the way this micro installs I do not believe it can be installed by recessing into a wall since you would not have the necessary framing to tie into to hold the microwave up. This micro installs with a brace that mounts to the wall, it is not connected or supported by the cabinet above or to either side. So recessing it is a bad idea that will lead to many other problems.
