National Kitchen and Bath Design Awards & Published Projects
In the 1980's when Dan was still young and trying to set the world on fire, he received a good deal of recognition for his Kitchen and Bath Design work. After winning 20 NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) National Kitchen and Bath Design Awards in a 4 year period, Two CTDA (Ceramic Tile Distributors Association) National Design Awards, one of which being their top award of 1982, and voted the best room of the 1982 Designers Showcase, the Spreckles Beach House Mansion Kitchen Remodel, Dan got a lot of attention from both local and national publications. He had numerous Kitchen and Bath Remodeling projects, Kitchen Remodeling ideas, and one feature article, as an award winning Kitchen Designer, appear in national publications: "Better Homes & Gardens- Kitchen and Bath Ideas", "House Beautiful - Kitchens & Baths"', "Designers West", "Kitchen & Bath Business", "Qualified Remodeler" and locally in "San Diego Home & Garden."

That time in his career offered him the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best Architects, Designers, and Tradesmen in San Diego. It laid the foundation for the knowledge base, experience, and resources he now brings to each of his projects. In Dan's opinion, over the last 20 years he has quietly been doing the best Kitchen and Bath Design and Construction work of his career.
